Dill

There are so many reasons why dill needs to be a part of everyone’s garden or farm. The main reason I grow it is to invite a whole host of beneficials to my farm to help fight pests. When in bloom, these plants are buzzing with life full of ladybugs, lacewings, butterflies, and so many other friends. These plants are easy to grow from seed and I have good success with direct sowing which saves you precious space on your grow racks. It is a wonderful filler in bouquets that takes up a lot of real estate. If you don’t love the bright yellow blooms, just wait for them to start setting seed and use the seed pods in arrangements. In my area they come into bloom around June/July and make a good “firework filler” for the 4th of July.

Each packet contains 200 seeds minimum.
