This variety was very appropriately named. It quite literally shifts from solid purple to partially blue as the blooms age. It’s fascinating to watch the changes day by day. The coloring reminds me of mermaids. Blue Shift can be seen next to turquoise in my side by side photo. Blue shift has more saturated tones while turquoise has softer tones.
